NEW GROUP OPENING AND GROUP RE-OPENING IN JANUARY 2012

A new group is starting in Basildon in January 2011.  Due to demand in the area, to make the programme more accessible to our clients, we are opening sessions at the Bailson Centre Monday and Thursday evenings.  Our Colchester Group at the Hythe Community Centre is re-starting also in January.

WINNERS MID ESSEX BUSINESS AWARDS

For the second time this year we have been successful in winning an award for the work we do in the community.  We had some stiff competition with some very worthy Charities, so we were yet again thrilled to be selected as winners!  It is really great to get recognition for our project.

WINNERS ESSEX BUSINESS AWARDS

We were really delighted to be the winners of this award.  It was the first time Essex Change had entered into any award, so it came to a big shock to us that we were selected as finalists and then went on to winning the award.

Our sponsors Anglia Water came to visit us and were really impressed with the work we do.

RESEARCH: The Mirabel Project!

Essex Change have been selected to join the Mirabel Project, a Research project being led by Durham and the Metropolitan University over the next three years.  The project will be researching the what the impact on communities where there are prevention programmes compared to communities where there are no programmes.
