JOB DESCRIPTION
 
Job Title:  Project Co-ordinator (Maternity Cover)
Location:  Chelmsford  
Salary:       Exceeds Minimum Wage
Hours:       16 per week (flexible)
 
 
Main Duties
 
Telephone
 
  • To answer all incoming calls
  • To discuss the programme with professionals and clients
  • To discuss personal issues with clients
 
Administration
 
  • To provide administrative support to the Essex Change Team
  • Maintain the in-house database system REDAMOS
  • To co-ordinate the marketing and promotion of the service
  • To co-ordinate the running of groups
  • To develop/maintain the Essex Change website
  • To be pro-active in generating referrals
  • To liaise with external agencies and deal with sensitive issues
  • To co-ordinate CAFCASS and Court Procedures (including finance returns)
  • To undertake administrative duties
  • To attend meetings and training as required
  • Any other duties as determined by the Service Manager
 
Key Qualities and Skills Requirements
 
  • Knowledge of working with people who have experienced domestic abuse
  • Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
  • Fully competent with IT including using the internet, Microsoft excel, word, access and e-mail.
  • Able to create effective administrative systems to ensure the smooth running of programme.
  • Pro-active in developing the co-ordination of the programme.
  • Ability to work in a team setting.
  • Commitment to the charity objectives
  • Able to be flexible with hours where necessary
